Hi,
I am a general Lakeland lover who enjoys walking the fells anytime I can.
I have been walking the hills of the Lake District now for over ten years and have bagged quite a few of the AW's, but due to not noting them I have not got a complete total.

| 27th Mar 2010 | Helvellyn 27th March 2010
I travelled up from Ainsdale on Friday 26Th March 2010 to meet up with a group of friends and walk up Helvellyn on Saturday 27Th March. The weather was rather inclement when I set off and it did not stop raining until I had erected the tent.
The rest of the party arrived and we did our walk on Saturday, it was excellent, weather was not bad and the satisfaction of conquering Helvellyn again was great, especially when the reward was a pint of Fosters accompanied with Burger and Chips in the Badger Bar in Rydal.

FIRST SEVERAL PHOTIES ARE OF RANDOM SORTS - CHRISTMAS 2006 INCLUDED
This was a nice weekend away with two close friends. We had booked "Go Ape" for Saturday 12th May, which was a very enjoyable experience - One I can highly recommend!!!
Sunday my firends departed and I booked into a caravan on Greenhowe Caravan Site (www.greenhowe.com) - very good accomodation courtesy of Graham Holden......
Monday was a lazy day out in ambleside with Mal from the sticklebarn, and then Tuesday was a good walk up to Stickle Tarn and onto Pavey Arc - sadly my camera ran out of battery just as I had taken a picture of me infront of Pavey Arc
